[Operation Albino] The expansion of Agattu into Manitoba
Seeing the advancement of several neighboring nations and due to the realization that Agattu needs some land in a somewhat warmer climate, the Holy Emperor of Agattu as ordered Major General Borges to take the 1st Infantry Division and 1st Armored Division of the Agattan Army and launch and exploratory mission into the unclaimed Manitoba territory. The Agattan Navy has also moved its Hudson Bay fleet of small LCS vessals and Coastal Patrol Vessels to the southern part of the bay to protect the army from any interference. Agattu has also alerted the 3rd Air Force which is responsible for QRA and protection of the western Hudson Bay region. One flight of F-15E Strike Eagles has moved to the airport at Arviat to provide CAS to the Army during its mission.
General Borges predicts the operation to take 5 days to reach the ancient and lost city of Winnipeg and complete the initial phase of this operation.
The government of Agattu has request all nations divert all air travel and any personal that may be in this region to safe territory outside of the ancient borders of Manitoba.
The government of Agattu has contacted her neighbors and has received no complaints.

Re: [Operation Albino] The expansion of Agattu into Manitoba
The Journal of Major General Borges.
Day 1
2016.03.04
Day one of our exploratory mission is coming to a close. movement has been slow and we have not ran into any resistance. In fact, we have not ran into any people at all. This land is just as cold as the territories Agattu currently lays claim too, but I have been assured that warmer weather awaits as we move south.
I spoke with Colonel Jarvis, of the Royal Aggatan Marines and he informs me that the Navy launched a landing party at a village on the coast called Egg Island. He says there were a few people there and that they did not put up any resistance. Lets hope all future encounters occur without incident.
The infantry seems to be moving at a reasonable pace, but the armor is moving a snails pace. With no road system in this portion of what used to be know as Manitoba, movement is slow going. The good news is that all of the lakes, ponds, rivers, creeks, and other water obstacles are all frozen. If we had to move through this land in the summer, it would be near impossible to move more than a few miles a day.
Unfortunately, we did have a casualty today. Some PFC was goofing off on top of one of our Bradly Fighting Vehicles when he slipped and fell off of the vehicle. He busted his arm up pretty bad and had to be medivac'd back to Fort Arviat. No need to call up a replacement for him.
One thing is for sure, we need to pick up the pace tomorrow. I may have to consider using our Air Assault Battalion to move forward. The problem with that is that we will loose our quick response force. I will have to think about this and determine what the chances of major combat are.

Day 5
2016.03.09
I will keep this entry short.
We succeed in conquering Manitoba. We experience no resistance until we reached the ancient city of Winnipeg. The problem is, as we got closer, we realized that the city is very much alive. The people that occupy the city are the decedents of those that we forced out of Agattu during our creation. these were the people that my great grandfather fought against. The fighting was brutal and intense. We lost several good soldiers, but we won the battle and have pacified these barbarians. Manitoba will make a great addition to the Holy Empire of Agattu.
