Up until now, the safest harbors found in Araluena have been along the west and south coasts. The Eastern coast is too rocky and contains too violent waves for ports to be built. However, exploration craft have concluded that the northern tip of Madagascar Island is capable of safe sea travel. So, Acting Regent Claudius II has ordered the construction of a military base and port in the northernmost district of Madagascar, and has sent ships to begin building. Claudius assures the international community that he is only interested in the sole district.
